This Blog... It Was Made For Me

Just... don't even ask. I don't even know why this is here, even.
By the way, the only things on here that belong to me are the sketched pictures of hands. Because I have a problem. Other than that, nothing here belongs to me.
But I love hands. I LOVE hands.
Also, this blog has NSFW posts. So be aware.
Also, it will be fueled by RusAme. Fueled.

TARA LYNN IS A BEAUTIFUL, PLUS SIZE, FRENCH MODEL WHO IS AN INSPIRATION TO ME AND MANY OTHERS.

THIS GORGEOUS WOMAN NEEDS TO BE SEEN ON TUMBLR WAY MORE OFTEN.

I’M SO SICK OF THE SKINNY CHICKS YOU SEE IN THE HIPSTER CLOTHES IN ALL THE FAD TUMBLR PHOTOS.

    THIS IS REAL; STUNNING.

MORE WOMEN LIKE TARA LYNN NEED TO BE SEEN IN MAGAZINES AND THE MEDIA!! <3

I have two things to say about this and I need to say first, that I do think that this girl is very beautiful and I respect what she’s doing for the modelling world and plus-sized modelling. But is she anymore “woman” than the non plus-sized models? Is she anymore “woman” than the skinny hipster girls that we see on tumblr?

    The answer is no.

Being a woman is something that can’t be quantified, and it certainly isn’t quantified by your weight.

Some of the most influential women in the feminist movement were in fact thin. Does this make their contribution to “being a woman” any less valid because they weren’t plus-sized? Because they weren’t what you consider to be a “real woman”.

My mother for instance, is a real woman. She’s also a size 3 in most department stores. She is just as pressured by the media to GAIN weight (boobs and an ass) as I am to lose weight.

If anyone were to say that my mother is not a real woman just because she’s 5 ft 8 and 110 pounds, I’d probably slap them silly.

Another thing I’m finding that the plus-sized revolution (so to speak) on tumblr doesn’t understand, is that fashion puts the same amount of pressure on thin models, as they do on plus-sized models.

Plus-sized models  MUST have the correct proportions and they must be OVER a certain range. If they’re under, they’re not true plus-sized women. The majority of the people on tumblr that are associating with these plus-sized models, probably couldn’t even BE a plus-sized model.

Yes, the image they portray is a little bit more realistic than a size 2 or a size 4, but they’re still not representing a realistic body shape. They representing a body shape that their agents and representatives have molded them into so that they can get jobs.

Yes, we need healthier representations of women in media, but they don’t NEED to be plus-sized. We need a representation of every sort of woman in media. Whether they’re thin, thick, black, or white. Pear shaped, hour-glass, rectangle, apple, boyish, waifish, just as long as they’re happy and they’re healthy.

Big is beautiful. So are the thin girls that grace the runways of Paris Fashion Week. So are the “hipster, tumblr, stick chicks”.

Enough with this, “they’re not REAL woman” shit. We’re all real women, regardless of size or weight.

    THIS GURL IS SO SEXY.

    This woman is beautiful.

    Blessed be this model. :’D
